Noah: This was a big year for Noah. He turned eight. He chose to be baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He started BMX racing and has qualified for the main event each time and placed as well. He is in second grade and continues to excel in Chinese immersion. His PTA reflection entry a film on his dream to go to x games won at the school and district level. I have admired Noah's faith and perserverence through trails. He is prayerful and thoughtful.
Clara Jane started kindergarten in the fall. She loves writing, playing games (esp if she wins), playing with her friends, and dancing. She's a girl with a plan...always leaving to do lists, notes, for mom and dad. She has a beautiful voice. She has let a few more people see her fun, silly side. I love seeing her be brave.
Rowan loves cozy. This girl asks for snuggle time. She's quick to smile and says funniest things. "Double what! They took are spot". She has an imaginary friend named Violet. Prefers wearing her Thumbelina dress or just panties. Even in the winter it is a bit of battle to clothe this cutie. Come on over around 8 pm and you'll get a delightful rendition of "let it go" from frozen coming from her room as she sings herself to sleep. (She's 3)
Ben turned two in October. He's a man a few words but they are quite effective. My favorite is when I tell him that I love him he just answers, "too". He can work his twinkle eyes and "pease" to snatch your iPhone...all in hopes to see his favorite buddy Thomas the little blue engine. Choo choos and playing with Noah's legos are his favorites. So is being a puppy with Row.
Josh and I got to go to Washington, D.C. for a conference for Josh's role as president of the Utah's association for mortgage brokers. Josh took a pilgrimage to Chicago to see Pearl Jam play Wrigley field. I got to go to Portland to a BYU dorm reunion. I ran my first half marathon and got certified to be a ballet barre instructor. Josh finished his new building for his own new mortgage company. Which has been great but very challenging. Lots of days in survival mode at home and work. We are grateful and happy for are many blessings. Excited for what 2014 brings!
